We are Finn Walshe, an incoming PPE undergraduate at Oxford, and Archie Bakewell, an incoming Politics and International Relations undergraduate at the University of Bristol. Gap Year Politics is a hub for posts and opinions on what’s happening in the world right now; from front page news like the 2020 US Presidential Election to less covered issues such as conflict in Yemen. We will cover all things political and economic to further ours and your understanding of the world. As young people who are passionate about politics, we recognise the importance of political engagement amongst our peers and so we hope this can be an opportunity for young people to share their opinions and discover new ones.
